The 2018 sale catalogue for Feynman's papers noted that this was the only book signed by Feynman in his library that he also authored. A foundational physics textbook, it provides the first comprehensive, textbook-level presentation of the path integral formulation of quantum mechanics, which Feynman originally developed during his doctoral work. Albert R. Hibbs was a close friend and former doctoral student of Feynman. He worked as an American physicist, mathematician, and pioneering scientist at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, where he helped design Explorer 1, the first successful U.S. satellite. Octavo.
