Qing Dynasty (19th Century) - Porcelain - China - Qing Dynasty (1644-1911)

Large White and Blue Porcelain Vase/Jar ("Blue and White") – China, Qing Dynasty (19th Century) Description / Fascinating and imposing Chinese porcelain vase/jar decorated in underglaze blue, dating to the Qing Dynasty (19th century). The main body is finely painted with a rich and elegant naturalistic motif depicting large peonies in full bloom on pierced rocks (Lake Rocks/Taihu Rocks). The shoulder of the vase is adorned with a geometric Greek-key decorative band (meander pattern). The painting quality shows beautiful shades of cobalt blue on a pale grayish-white background typical of the period’s production. * Period: Qing Dynasty (19th century) * Origin: China * Motif: Peonies and rocks (Peonies and Scholar Rocks) * Height: about 24 cm (as shown in the photos with a tailor’s tape) Conditions / Please carefully review all attached photographs, which are an integral part of the description. * The vase presents in good overall condition considering its age. * It shows natural firing imperfections (small black dots/iron spots and glaze pitting) and slight signs of wear/patina on the unglazed mouth rim and the base, consistent with the period and artisanal manufacture. * No visible restorations. IMPORTANT SHIPPING NOTICE / > ATTENTION - SHIPPING CONDITIONS: > * SHIPPING ONLY TO COUNTRIES OF THE EUROPEAN UNION (EU). > * We do not ship to buyers outside the European Union (excludes United Kingdom, Switzerland, USA, Asia, etc.). > * Please note that Cyprus and overseas territories/islands are ALSO EXCLUDED from shipping. > Non-EU residents who are eligible buyers are requested NOT to place bids.
