Antique copper/brass pin cushion in Rococo style with dark green velvet. France 19th century Beautiful antique decorative jewelry box, crafted in a richly detailed Rococo- or Louis XV-style. The box features an elegant scalloped shape and is adorned all around with refined relief decorations, including floral garlands, acanthus leaves, and classical cartouches. The top serves as a soft pin cushion or decorative cushion, upholstered with authentically deep dark green velvet. This magnificent object is in beautiful antique condition with characteristic signs of age. The metal shows a lovely authentic patina and the velvet has slight wear at the edges, which enhances its historic appearance. A unique and elegant collectible, perfect to use as a pin cushion on a sewing table, as a decoration on a dressing table, or as a atmospheric eye-catcher in a classic, antique, or vintage/brocante interior!
