Di forma rettangolare, sormontata da un tetto a pagoda in bambù contornato da cornicione finemente intagliato a motivi vegetali e nei quattro angoli decoro intagliato di fenici. La parte frontale è caratterizzata da doppia porta le cui ante sono divise dieci pannelli decorati a rilievo o traforati, affiancati da due pannelli con scritte a caratteri cinesi ed altri con decori a rilievo. Tutti i lati riccamente decorati nella parte superiore con pannelli decorati a figure o motivi naturalistici, nella parte inferiore con pannelli dipinti in oro con scene di figure. In buone condizioni, minori usure e minori tagli nel legno dovuti al tempo, usure minori nelle dorature e le quattro maniglie metalliche per l?alloggio delle barre di trasporto rimovibili mancanti. Cm 205x95x95 A PARTIALLY GILT-PAINTED, LACQUERED WOOD WEDDING PALANQUIN, CHINA, QING DYNASTY, 19TH CENTURY Of rectangular shape, surmounted by a bamboo pagoda roof surrounded by a rim finely carved with naturalistic motifs and the four triangular corners carved with phoenixes. The front double door composed by ten panels with relief or openwork different decorations, flanked by two panels with Chinese characters and others with relief motifs. All sides are richly decorated: the upper section with panels decorated with figures or naturalistic subjects, and the lower section with gold-painted panels depicting figurative scenes. In good conditions, minor wear and tear on the wood due to age, minor wear to the gilding, and the four metal handles for the removable carrying bars are missing. Cm 205x95x95
