HIGHLIGHTS: • Restomod based on a 1976 Porsche 911 2.7 • Porsche 3.2L engine installed more than 20 years ago • Complete body restoration with no fiberglass (metal panels welded) • Interior completely new in leather and Pepita fabric • Many mechanical and chassis components new (suspensions, brakes, aviation hoses) HISTORY/PRESENTATION: Launched in 1974, the 2.7-liter Porsche 911 represented the evolution of the famous German sports car with the introduction of impact-absorbing bumpers. This 1976 example has benefited from a full Restomod transformation, blending classic design with more modern mechanical improvements, notably the integration of a 3.2-liter engine block renowned for its reliability and performance. BODYWORK/PAINT: The body has undergone a complete restoration. The structure contains no fiberglass: the hood is new and the rear wings are made of welded sheet metal. The sills and door frames have been replaced. The front and rear bumpers are fiberglass. The car wears a metallic duck-egg blue/green color. The trim strips, door handles, mirrors and the engine grille have received a Cerakote oven-cured paint finish. The windshield, lights as well as the wheels and tires are new. INTERIOR: The cabin is fully new, with upholstery combining brown leather and Pepita fabric on the seats and door panels. The floor is covered with a houndstooth-pattern carpet. The car is equipped with power windows. The instrumentation and gauges have been completely serviced. Also noted is the installation of a demultiplied gear-shift linkage. MECHANICS: The vehicle is equipped with a 3.2-liter engine installed over twenty years ago, showing 100,000 km on the odometer, not guaranteed. The engine shows good compression as well as good oil pressure when hot. The exhaust is new. The entire chassis and mechanical consumables have been overhauled, including the shock absorbers, bearings, bushings, ball joints, CV boot covers, the full braking system and aviation brake hoses.
