Popeye – Heddon Fishing Lures – Rond Emaille Reclamebord - Enamel sign - Enamel

Unique enamel advertising sign featuring Popeye, fully executed in a fishing theme. Popeye is depicted centrally as a fisherman with a rod and a big caught fish. Prominently on the sign is the name Heddon, the well-known American brand that became famous mainly for its lures and other products for fishing. The combination of Popeye and Heddon makes the sign appealing to both collectors of classic comic characters and enthusiasts of old fishing and American advertising. The sign is enamel, slightly convex, and has four mounting holes. Around the holes wear and rust marks are visible. The photos give a good impression of its current condition. Dimensions: approx. 30 cm diameter Material: enamel Theme: Popeye / Heddon / Fishing / Angling / American advertising Country of origin: United States A nice and striking collectible object in which Popeye is clearly central, combined with a classic American fishing brand.
