Pölzl Peter - PöP Art - ORIZZONTE IN FIAMME (XXL)

This unique original work by Pölzl Peter / poep-art – is 100% handmade. Made in Italy The "guiding profile" for explaining my images is best described across numerous images as a deliberate refusal of linguistic fixation. For PoP, talking about art is often difficult or even “pointless,” since painting for him represents an autonomous form of thinking that goes beyond what can be said. He sees painting as a process that begins where language ends. He holds the view that one can only put into words what words can express—painting has nothing to do with that. In summary: My guiding profile is the openness of the image. An image must be able to stand on its own for him without external explanation, as any interpretation would merely limit the image. An abstract painting by Peter Pölzl no longer looks like a likeness of reality, but like a battlefield of colors and layers. There are no recognizable objects, figures, or landscapes anymore.
