Plexiglass sign for Tabacchi (tobacco shop) - Sign - Plexiglass

Front panel of the official sign for an Italian tobacco retailer (Retail Number 110). The object features the iconic large white "T" historically used by the State Monopolies / AAMS to identify authorized tobacconists in Italy. The piece is made with a double-layer plexiglass technique: the black top layer bears the precision-cut of the Emblem of the Italian Republic and the inscription "RIV. N° 110", allowing the white translucent background to emerge. The material structure makes it perfect both to hang as a decorative plaque and to backlight by installing an LED strip or a light box on the back. An excellent piece of modern design and Italian commercial memorabilia, highly sought after for decorating venues, private collections, or vintage environments. Condition Overall vintage condition: Good. Signs of time: Shows light surface scratches and small signs of wear on the edges due to time and disassembly, which attest to the authenticity of the object from public use. No major structural cracks visible.
