Autodidact and instinctive, Pioch has developed a distinctive style that blends free figurative drawing with elements of street art and brings influences from brut art and outsider art. One could say that all of his works are a true open book about his life. He prefers to depict human emotion in his paintings rather than speak out or politically engage with his creations. He is an authentic artist who tells his story and in parallel ends up telling others’ lives. Highly sensitive, he bares himself through his canvases without restraint, thus showing his personality, not seeking to seduce; he will never leave you indifferent.
