Self-taught and instinctive, Pioch has developed a distinctive style that blends free figuration with elements of street art and draws on influences from Art Brut and outsider art. One could say that all of his works are a true open book to his life. He prefers to depict human emotion in his paintings rather than speak out and engage politically through his creations. He is an authentic artist who tells his story and ends up telling the lives of others in parallel. Hyper-sensitive, he opens up through his canvases without restraint, thus showing his personality; without trying to seduce, he will never leave you indifferent.
