Self-taught and instinctive, Pioch has developed a distinctive style that blends free figuration with elements of street art and draws influences from brut art and outsider art. One could say that all his works are a true open book about his life. He prefers to depict human emotion in his paintings rather than speak and engage politically with his creations.
