Pink Floyd - A Momentary Lapse of Reason (Europe) – 1987...

Original 1987 European first pressing of Pink Floyd's A Momentary Lapse of Reason on EMI, catalogue number 1C 064-7 48068 1. This is the authentic European vinyl issue from the album's release year, identifiable by the period EMI picture labels bearing the LC 0542 designation and "Made in EEC" marking. The sleeves for these European editions were printed in Holland by EMI Services Benelux, making this an important variant for collectors seeking the original European release. A Momentary Lapse of Reason marked Pink Floyd's return with David Gilmour and Nick Mason, with production by Gilmour and Bob Ezrin. The album features some of the band's finest later-period material, including "Learning to Fly," "One Slip," "On the Turning Away," "Yet Another Movie" and the epic closing track "Sorrow." The original European LP was issued in a gatefold sleeve and comes with the original illustrated printed lyric inner sleeve, both of which are present and intact with this copy. ⸻ Sleeve (VG+): The original gatefold sleeve remains very attractive and solid, showing only normal light signs of age and handling. The overall presentation is clean and well preserved → VG+ Inner Sleeve: Original printed lyric inner sleeve included. Vinyl (VG+): A very clean example retaining a strong original shine.
