Offered: a rare, specially made piece for the 50th anniversary of the company A.S. in Germany, this Rictus Art Deco mail/letter scale. On this letter scale the name Rictus is not indicated as such. On the back is the patent number D.R.P. 384478 listed, as well as the logo of Ph. J. Maul. Also notable is that this letter scale has a marble base. The letter scale dates from the Art Deco period around 1930 and is made of metal and brass. Scale: 0 to 250 grams. The letter scale is in good condition but there are clearly visible signs of use. Photos are part of the description. Note: this is a genuine Art Deco object and not just any ordinary small letter scale.
