Peterson - Pipa Peterson System Premier 305 (Anno 1971)...

Peterson System Premier 305 Pipe (Year 1971) - Sterling Silver 925 - Vintage Splendid and rare Peterson System Premier 305 pipe (Calabash curved shape), dating to the early Republic Era, precisely the year 1971. Unlike standard models with a nickel rim, the prestigious Premier line is distinguished by a superior briar selection (no fills) and a rustic finish with pronounced grain in warm brown and reddish tones. The highlight of this pipe is the stunning handmade true Sterling Silver (.925) ring, bearing the three official Dublin Assay Office hallmarks: 1. Hibernia seated (Irish craftsmanship) 2. Crowned harp (silver purity) 3. Italic letter "D" (certifying the exact year of production: 1971) On the bottom of the shank, there is the legible maker’s mark: "Peterson's System Premier 305 - Made in the Republic of Ireland". Measurements: Length: 13.3 cm Width: 3.5 cm Depth: 5.1 cm Technical Specifications: * Brand: Peterson of Dublin * Model: 305 (System Pipe) * Line: Premier * Year: 1971 * Finish: Red/Brown Rusticated * Ring: Sterling Silver 925 stamped * Mouthpiece: Original vulcanite with P-Lip shape (Peterson patent to divert smoke toward the palate) Condition of the item: The pipe is structurally in excellent vintage condition: the briar shows no cracks, no rim charring, and no hidden defects. The smoking chamber is perfectly intact and the internal sump purification system is clean. The vulcanite mouthpiece is original and shows the typical light brownish surface oxidation patina due to age, easily polishable (no deep bite marks). The silver shows a beautiful antique patina that can be brought to a mirror finish with a jewelry cloth. An indispensable piece of history for any Peterson collector or admirer of vintage System pipes. Shipping costs and charges are entirely the buyer’s responsibility. Thank you.
