Brosche mit Aquamarinrohkristall, tlw. facettiert, antikisierender Frauenkopf mit flankierenden Widderköpfen graviert aus Gagat, möglicherweise in Anlehnung an antike Mythologie oder als allegorische Darstellung des Tierkreiszeichens Widder. Abhängend Tahiti Zuchtperle, weiter kleine Brillanten zus. ca. 0,30 ct, Gelbgold 18K, 53,7 g, Länge ca. 8,5 cm, 20./21. Jh., leichte Tragespuren. Peter Plöderl wurde für seine Kreationen mit mehreren Preisen ausgezeichnet, u. A. mit dem "Deutschen Edelsteinpreis", Idar-Oberstein. | PETER PLÖDERL Jewellery piece, brooch featuring a raw aquamarine, partially facetted; an antique-style female head flanked by ram’s heads, engraved on jet, possibly inspired by ancient mythology or as an allegorical representation of the zodiac sign Aries. Hanging from it is a Tahitian cultured pearl, along with further small brilliant-cut diamonds totalling approx. 0.30 ct, 18K yellow gold, 53.7 g, length approx. 8.5 cm, 20th/21st century, slight signs of wear. Peter Plöderl has been awarded several prizes for his creations, including the ‘German Gemstone Prize’, Idar-Oberstein.
