Limoges enamel and 18K gold pendant - Portrait of a woman - Signed H. Chéron - Circa 1950-1960 Beautiful oval Limoges enamel pendant mounted in an elegant solid 18 karat gold setting. The central piece is crafted with the traditional technique on domed copper and depicts a refined profile portrait of a young lady. The figure wears a bright green dress or mantle with a luminous textured finish and a red ribbon in her gathered hair. On the back, over the enamel counter-enameling in dark burgundy red, there is the handwritten signature in gold letters: "H. Chéron Limoges". Technical details: • Mounting material: 18 karat yellow gold (18kt / 750). • Creator: Henri Chéron (1921-2011), renowned artisan trained in the prestigious Fauré workshops in Limoges. • Origin: Limoges, France. • Estimated era: Mid-20th century (Circa 1950 - 1960). • Technique: Painted/relief enamel on copper (Émail sur cuivre). • Design: Oval frame with a delicate cut-out gold filigree border and a top bale.
