A0000004414 The pen is presented in very good overall condition, showing remarkable preservation both aesthetically and functionally. The body in red marbled resin maintains excellent shine and depth of color, with the characteristic veins well defined and no noticeable discoloration. There are slight micro-signs of surface use, typical of the passage of time and careful use, but without cracks, dents, or structural defects. The black areas (the butt/end cap and the cap) likewise retain a good finish, with minimal signs of handling. The gold elements — clip, rings, and embellishments — are in very good condition, with uniform shine and no significant loss of plating, which enhances their visual appeal. The solid 18K gold nib is in excellent condition, without deformities or abnormal wear, maintaining proper alignment and smooth writing. The feed is clean and in optimal working condition. The filling system has been inspected and tested, functioning correctly, ensuring a reliable writing experience from the first use. Overall, this is a very well-preserved piece, fully functional and ready for use or collection, with light signs of wear consistent with its age. Conservation recommendations It is recommended to use high-quality inks suitable for fountain pens and to avoid pigmented inks. If not in prolonged use, clean with lukewarm water, dry completely before storing, and keep in a dry place away from direct light and extreme temperatures. Always operate the filling system gently to preserve its long-term mechanics. It will be shipped in a courtesy box for proper conservation. Happy bidding!
