PAIR OF PRE-COLUMBIAN LAMBAYEQUE COPPER VESSELS

Ca. AD 800 - 1470 > A group of two Lambayeque copper-alloy objects with cylindrical lower sections and broad openwork upper elements incorporating stylised faces and projecting ornaments. Lambayeque metalworkers on Peru's north coast produced technically accomplished objects for elite and ceremonial settings.
