Pair of Hexagonal Baluster Thousand Bloom Porcelain Lamps

Pair of large-scale hexagonal baluster-form porcelain vases converted to table lamps, featuring an all-over Thousand Bloom or Mille Fleurs floral motif. The decoration consists of a dense pattern of chrysanthemums and varied botanical elements in a palette of sage and olive green against a cream ground, with each blossom outlined in metallic gold-tone gilding. The hexagonal bodies transition to a tapered neck and flared rim, set upon tiered wooden bases with a dark brown finish. Each lamp is fitted with antique-style brass hardware, including a socket with a turn-knob switch and a brass harp topped with a decorative Shou longevity character finial. The underside of the wooden base is covered in dark brown felt. No maker marks are visible on the porcelain or mounting hardware. Standard brown plastic-coated electrical cords with two-prong plugs.
