Paco Guzmán (1970) - Abstracción C4 No Reserve

Oil-on-canvas painting measuring 60x51 cm, with 6 cm of canvas surplus on all sides to avoid problems when stretching it onto the frame. The artwork ships with an authenticity certificate. For safety, the work is sent inside a rigid, waterproof cardboard tube with caps. In "Abstracción C4", Paco Guzmán presents us with a composition overflowing with energy, dynamism, and visual expressiveness. Maintaining the characteristic vertical stripe language of his recent work, the artist articulates a map of organic, sinuous, and fluid contours that seem to evoke the richness of nature, landscapes viewed from a free perspective, or micro-organic representations. "Abstracción C4" is a work full of light and strength that will become the centerpiece of any space. It is ideal for contemporary art collectors seeking pieces with character, vitality, and a distinctive graphic language. Paco Guzmán is an eclectic artist with a long career behind him. He graduated from Llotja School in Barcelona, in painting techniques and mural painting. His work is in private collections in the USA, Taiwan, Belgium, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, the United Kingdom, and Italy. He has participated in various exhibitions in art galleries and shown his work at different international art festivals. He also works as a professional caricaturist. Paco Guzmán, born in 1970 in Ulldecona, Tarragona, is a Spanish graphics artist, painter, and caricaturist. From an early age, he showed notable drawing ability, creating caricatures of his teachers and classmates. Although he initially took an interest in comics, he soon leaned toward impressionist painting and caricature. In 1992, he began his painting career as a self-taught artist, focusing on classical subjects such as still lifes. Later, he completed a correspondence course in artistic drawing, balancing his studies with work in a furniture factory. His passion for art led him to devote himself fully to painting and caricature, making caricatures of friends and tourists, which helped him perfect his technique. Between 1997 and 2002, he studied at Esardi School in Amposta, in collaboration with Llotja de Barcelona, specializing in painting techniques and mural painting. During this period, he left his factory job to focus on his artistic studies, supporting himself through occasional work and street art. Throughout his career, Guzmán has developed an eclectic style, combining contemporary painting with caricature. He has published the book "901 Caricaturas", collecting more than a hundred caricatures of famous characters, created with various techniques such as acrylic on canvas, digital painting, oil on canvas, and graphite on paper. He has also participated in exhibitions such as "Anatomia de les ànimes i visions caricaturesques" at the Espai Expositiu DeltArt in Deltebre, where he presented works created during the lockdown, reflecting an evolution in his technique and creativity. Paco Guzmán continues to explore new forms of artistic expression, establishing himself as a prominent figure in the field of painting and caricature in Spain.
