Picasso: “Le pingouin, 1907". Authorized silkscreen print. Condition: the work is in excellent condition. Dimensions: 60 x 50 cm. The high-quality silkscreen emphasizes the graphic quality of the motif and gives the work a clear, pronounced presence. Picasso's concise animal depictions belong to the most charming examples of his playful drawing. With a few precise lines, the artist manages to capture movement, character and expression in an impressive way. The motif "Le pingouin" from 1907 comes from a particularly fascinating early phase of Picasso's creation, in which his experimental language of form was already beginning to take shape. Works from this period are considered especially interesting for collectors, because they form the basis for later, stylistically defining developments. The depiction convinces with its reduced, expressive linework and a direct, lively imagery. Precisely the animal depictions from this phase possess their own character and distinguish themselves clearly from later, heavily abstracted works. Never framed and kept in a dark archival storage between protective acid-free paper. The shown photos are part of the description. This artwork is carefully and securely packed and shipped in protective acid-free paper. No shipping possible to the Canary Islands.
