Pablo Picasso (1881-1973) - "Le Papillon, 1936". - 60 x 50 cm.

Picasso: "Le Papillon, 1936". Authorized screen print. Condition: the work is in excellent condition. Format: 60 x 50 cm. The high-quality screen print emphasizes the graphic quality of the motif and gives the work a clear, striking presence. Picasso's concise animal subjects belong to the most charming examples of his playful drawing. With a few precise lines, the artist manages to capture movement, character and expression in an impressive way. The motif "Le Papillon" from 1936 comes from a particularly fascinating early phase of Picasso's creation, in which his experimental figurative language was already beginning to take shape. Works from this period are regarded as particularly interesting for collectors, because they form the basis for later, style-defining developments. The depiction impresses with its reduced, expressive line work and a direct, vivid visual effect. Indeed, the animal depictions from this phase possess their own character and clearly differ from later, highly abstracted works. Never framed and kept in a dark archival storage between protective acid-free paper. The shown photos are part of the description.
