The composition revisits The Young Painter, an emblematic late work of Picasso. Lithograph produced by Henri Deschamps, regular collaborator of Picasso, with the printed inscription: « HENRI DESCHAMPS LITH. » Printed by the famous Paris atelier Mourlot, with the imprint MOURLOT at the bottom of the sheet. This is the limited edition version, hand-numbered in pencil: 54 / 250 The work is printed on fine wove paper bearing the watermark “ARCHES FRANCE,” clearly visible through the transparency. This numbered Arches paper version should be distinguished from non-numbered posters also distributed for the exhibition. There are slight signs of age, small marks and a few scattered foxing mainly in the margins, visible in the photographs. The paper retains good overall integrity. No major tear or significant loss visible on the work. The photographs are an integral part of the description and allow a precise assessment of the condition.
