Oscar Leonor (1976) - Multitud (XXL)

Multitud is a work in which the rhythms and pictorial gestures, energetic and spontaneous, manage to recreate the atmosphere of a crowd of people in an assertive, activist mood. It is a very special piece in which the artist, once again, uses abstraction as a support to recreate a recognizable scene. The process starts with improvisation and then moves to a more analytical and careful phase in which colors and composition are balanced. The work is delivered without a frame (professional packaging, rolled in a tube). Your local framer must re-stretch it and mount it on a stretcher. The indicated measurements are those of the painting once stretched and mounted on a frame. The actual canvas dimensions are larger to allow mounting. Hand-signed on the back. Includes certificate of authenticity. You can follow the artist’s work on his Instagram profile: https://www.instagram.com/oscarleonor/ Artistic career, main exhibitions.
