Oscar Leonor (1976) - Estudio (XL)

Estudio is a work that represents the painter's study, in which the protagonist is a chair and a curtain moved by the wind. In this piece the painter takes the geometrization of the room's elements to an extreme, creating a harmonious and fresh composition thanks to the combination of acrylic with charcoal strokes. The work is delivered unframed (professional packaging, rolled in a tube). Your local framer should re-stretch it and mount it on a frame. The indicated measurements are of the painting once stretched and mounted on the frame. The actual canvas dimensions are larger to allow its mounting. Hand-signed on the back. Includes certificate of authenticity. You can follow the artist's work on his Instagram profile: https://www.instagram.com/oscarleonor/ Artist trajectory, main exhibitions. Born in Segovia in 1976, self-taught draftsman and painter for years. He has been exhibiting his work in public venues and national and international art fairs since 2014. His interests are very varied; he conceives painting as a tool for re-encounter with oneself. His creative process has evolved over time; experimentation and the search for new paths, methods, and materials are the motor of his career. However, it can be said that the deconstruction of form and the dialogue with the history of art have been two pillars that have remained and around which he finds the freedom to create and to convey. This attitude has led him, throughout his life, along different paths, trying different formulas and genres such as still life, the representation of personal objects, drawing and painting of the human body, or symbolism and narrative. His main aspiration is to develop a personal painting that connects with him and in which humor is almost always present.
