Very beautiful set consisting of two works by Italian painter Oscar Di Prato (1910-2002), a renowned master of contemporary sacred art: The first piece is an original drawing of great finesse, done in pencil with ink wash, masterfully echoing a famous study of an elderly bearded man by the old master (Albrecht Dürer). The stroke and shading are remarkable. The second piece is a colored print/ lithograph depicting a Nativity Scene, treated in a fluid and poetic style on a bluish background. Presentation and framing: Both works are presented under glass in refined frames that perfectly match the classical and religious aesthetic of the artist.
