List price = 1100€ Designed in 1977 by Vico Magistretti, Atollo has for many years been an icon, one of the most accepted symbols in the design world, the archetype of the desk lamp that won the Compasso d'Oro in 1979 and entered the permanent collections of major museums, revolutionizing the way we imagine the classic bedside lamp. The geometric shapes that compose it—the cylinder, the cone and the hemisphere—gave life to a decorative yet essential product; the hemispherical lampshade directs light downward onto the surface of the desk, creating an indirect and pleasant emphasis in the environment. Atollo 239, the medium-sized version of the family, is made in metal with a Black finish, and has direct and reflected light emission. The light source is 2 dimmable LED bulbs up to 75W with E27 socket, NOT included. Universal black dimmer included.
