Antique and spectacular religious figure of Saint Gemma of GALGANI from the OLOT workshops, “The Holy Christ” made in the mid-20th century in wood paste on a wooden pedestal, halo of carved gilded brass, and eyes in vitreous paste. She was the first woman to be elevated to the altars in the 20th century. After a life filled with family misfortunes and with deplorable health, she clung to the faith so strongly that she gave her life for Christ. A true jewel restored and cleaned and hand-painted to shine in all her splendor. See the photographs to get a better idea of the details that form part of the description. Cleaning so that it shines with its original splendor. Dimensions: 36 cm high, 13 cm wide, and 11 cm deep. It will be carefully packaged with registered shipping and a tracking number.
