Oil bottle (3) - Rococo" of "Tower" model). - green glass

This is a vintage-style glass beverage dispenser (often referred to as the 'Rococo' or 'Tower' model). The dispenser is made of thick, light green/aqua glass. The design features a square or hexagonal base with detailed Baroque relief, a stepped neck with rounded shapes, and a classic cork as the closure. At the bottom the bottle is fitted with a metal or brass tap. This specific model is very popular as a decorative juice or water dispenser at parties and events. This type of bottle was originally also used in Southern Europe (such as Spain and Portugal) as a display bottle or container for wine and liqueurs. Has been in our family since World War II; my grandfather was made to work by the occupier and received this from a Frenchman as thanks for helping. It was also a very important object from the war for my grandfather. After his death my mother inherited it and now we’re tidying things up a bit. Very loved by collectors and liquor stores or cafés. This beautiful real old piece you don’t see very often anymore.
