NYX - Behind the Porcelain Veil – Kintsugi Geisha

--- History of the Work --- Behind the Porcelain Veil features a geisha whose face vanishes almost entirely behind a monumental fan, leaving only a discreet and enigmatic gaze visible. The piece takes up the emblematic codes of the PorcelainMuse universe: cobalt blue and ivory white of porcelain, Asian floral motifs, and gold fractures inspired by kintsugi. The fan becomes far more than a simple accessory here. Placed between the woman and the viewer, it creates a boundary between what is shown and what remains secret. The gaze, barely visible above the fan, becomes the true focal point of the composition. The skin, the clothing, and even the environment seem to belong to a single porcelain material delicately cracked. The gold lines run across the body like precious scars, turning each fracture into a decorative element. The large blue-and-white flower that adorns the hairstyle contrasts with the jewelry and gold ornaments. This combination of deep blue, off-white, and gold brings the overall aesthetic to be at once refined, contemporary, and immediately recognizable. Behind the Porcelain Veil evokes mystery, modesty, and the beauty of what one chooses not to reveal. A work where the viewer is deliberately kept at a distance, invited to imagine what lies behind the fan. ---Technical Features--- Title: Porcelain Warrior – The Silent Bloom Artistic Universe: PorcelainMuse Year: 2026 Creation Technique: Digital painting – Photoshop / Krita Support: Art print on canvas Dimensions: 60 × 60 × 2 cm Format: Square Assembly: Canvas mounted on wooden frame Edition: Limited edition of 25 copies Signature: Signature integrated into the work Certificate: Edition/authenticity certificate sent via email on request Condition: New Presentation: Ready to be hung Shipping: Protective packaging suitable for transporting the artwork Digital Print Use of AI: technical enhancement of definition/resolution to reduce pixellation and assistance in drafting the detailed submission description. ---About PorcelainMuse--- PorcelainMuse was born from a fascination with the fragile beauty of Asian porcelain and the stories objects can tell as they traverse time. Cobalt blue, porcelain white, floral motifs, feminine figures, warriors, Asian landscapes, and fractures inspired by Kintsugi progressively constitute the visual language of the collection. In this universe, porcelain goes beyond its decorative function. It becomes a metaphor for the human being: precious but fragile, prone to fissures, yet capable of preserving beauty despite the traces of time. Each creation thus seeks to establish a dialogue between the aesthetic heritage of Chinese porcelain and a contemporary artistic expression. Traditional motifs are reinterpreted in current compositions where characters, flowers, textures, and symbols tell a new story. Behind every PorcelainMuse face lie universal themes: memory, femininity, strength, transmission, fragility, and reconstruction. PorcelainMuse’s ambition is to create works that one does not choose solely for their aesthetics, but for the emotion and the story to which they connect us. ---Commitment to the Collector--- Each work receives special care before shipment and is prepared with care to ensure its protection during transport. The satisfaction of the collector is a core commitment of PorcelainMuse. Any questions concerning the work, its edition, its certificate, or its receipt are followed up attentively. This creation belongs to a limited edition of only 25 copies, in order to preserve the confidential character of the collection. ---Keywords--- PorcelainMuse, Porcelain Warrior, The Silent Bloom, Asian warrior, female samurai, katana, Chinese porcelain, blue and white porcelain, Chinese porcelain, cobalt blue, female portrait, Asian woman, Asian art, contemporary Asian art, digital painting, contemporary art, floral portrait, porcelain art, limited edition, édition limitée
