Wonderful statuette of Corine, one of the legendary characters of the Commedia dell’Arte sculpted by Franz Anton Bustelli between 1759 and 1760. The number 205 stamped on the bottom exactly corresponds to the historical code of this model in Nymphenburg’s historical registers. The statuette portrays the girl standing on a rocaille base, captured in the elegant gesture of consulting or holding a book. The piece is in glossy white porcelain (glazed). The inscription "XXIV RIMPU MÜNCHEN 1968" indicates that it was produced at the end of the 1960s for a specific event or congress in Munich.
