Authentic Japanese Knife Set (3-piece) – Satake Sword Smith (濃州正宗作) Offered: a splendid three-piece Japanese knife set in the original gift packaging. This traditional set is produced by the renowned manufacturer Satake Cutlery (佐竹産業) from Seki (関市), the historic capital of Japanese sword and knife smithing. On both the box and the blades is the prestigious maker’s inscription 濃州正宗作 (Nōshū Masamune Saku), which means "Made by Nōshū Masamune" in tribute to the legendary swordsmith. The knives are equipped with traditional light wooden handles (和ハンドル) with a contrasting black pommel. The set comprises three classic Japanese models: 1. Yanagiba / Sashimi knife (柳刃包丁): The long, slender knife. This blade is specifically designed for slicing raw fish (sushi/sashimi) and meat in a single ultra-thin, smooth motion. 2.
