This is the steel version, with the case left in its natural color and a finish that alternates polished and brushed surfaces, for a clearer and more classic look compared to the plated versions. The dial is gray tone-on-tone with sunray finish: light passes through it and changes its perceived depth with every wrist movement, from light gray to charcoal. It is the most sober and versatile variant in the range, the one that matches everything. The applied indices are all luminescent, as are the hands, for easy reading even underwater and in the dark. The bezel insert is steel, not aluminum: it resists scratches, does not fade, and ages with the case rather than before the case. The double polished and brushed finish makes it legible in all lighting conditions. From the exhibition caseback you can observe the Japanese automatic movement in operation, with the Norton-custom rotor recharging with every wrist movement.
