Curated collection of antique, vintage and modern rugs No Reserve — Two Antique Persian Sarouk Farahan Rugs — Circa 1880–1900 Size: 4 ft 10 in x 3 ft 3 in (1.47 m x 0.99 m)+11 ft 7 in x 8 ft 4 in (3.53 m x 2.54 m) Provenance: Property of a Nashville collector An unusual two-piece offering of antique Sarouk Farahan rugs, including one room-size carpet and a smaller related example. Both display the disciplined medallion drawing, richly layered borders, and deep nineteenth-century coloration associated with the Sarouk-Farahan weaving tradition. The contrast in scale makes the group particularly versatile: the larger rug may anchor a principal room while the smaller piece can create continuity elsewhere in the interior. Offered together without reserve, they present considerable decorative and collecting value.
