The original Art Deco necklace is crafted in 835 silver and is stamped as such, and it also bears the Laurin-Schmuck Pforzheim signet from the 1920s/1930s. This quality mark identifies the piece as a successful goldsmiths’ work according to the guidelines of the Goldsmiths’ Guild as a craft achievement. The necklace features a circular pattern with polished and textured sections, arranged in size progression along the sequence. Through ribbed band loops the individual links are connected movably to one another. The necklace is closed and opened with a spring-ring clasp. Length of the necklace approx. 51.5 cm, width max. approx. 1.15 cm Very elegant, signed goldsmiths’ work with dating to the 1920s/30s in very good, well-preserved condition.
