Gilded sterling silver brooch from the Danish Flora Danica. The brooch consists of a twig with overlapping leaves. The fine veins and irregular shapes give the design its natural appearance. On the back the brooch is marked with ‘Flora Danica’, ‘Sterling 925’, ‘Eggert’ and ‘Denmark’. The brooch is in good used condition. In several places there is dark oxidation and discoloration visible, including between the leaves. The brooch clasp works properly.
