The elegant Art Nouveau brooch is a goldsmith's single-commission piece in 835 silver, also stamped and marked with "Handarbeit". The hand-forged brooch has a long rectangular shape with rounded edges and corners. The martelé-decorated brooch features in its center a octagonally faceted, light-gold citrine in a fine Millegriffes setting. The citrine is flanked on both sides by finely polished salmon-red coral drops in Millegriffes settings. The silver surface is additionally adorned with soldered fine ornaments and ball embellishments. On the back there is a long pin with a locking cap. Length of the brooch approx. 5.8 cm, width approx. 1.5 cm, Goldsmith's single-commission piece from the 1915/20s, in very nice, well-preserved condition.
