NILSSON (Birgit) (1918–2005). Famous Swedish opera singer, one of the greatest dramatic sopranos of the 20th century, particularly renowned for her Wagnerian performances. Black-and-white photographic portrait of the famous opera singer, published by the DECCA record label, bearing her autograph in black ink at the bottom of the image. On the reverse, a printed description in German of several recordings by Birgit Nilsson, including Richard Wagner’s *Tristan und Isolde*, Giacomo Puccini’s *Turandot*, and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s *Don Giovanni*.
