Lubbers was proclaimed Artist of the Year 2024 at the Belgrade Biennale, received the Institutional Award of the Municipality of Montecosaro, and placed second at the World Art Awards as Most Innovative Artist 2024. She was also listed among the world’s top 100 female artists and recognized as a Master in Art. Internationally, her work has been shown and planned for exhibitions in, among others, New York, Venice, Florence, Belgrade, Belgium, China, and Montecosaro, in addition to exhibitions in Dutch galleries. A particularly high point is Beyond the Surface, a solo exhibition on Times Square in New York. In addition, Nicole presents the exhibition Harmony in Motion: Two Artists, One Vision together with artist Michael Lam. Two different artistic worlds come together here and form a joint dialogue around movement, color, creativity, and transformation. Nicole Lubbers’ work is more than just a visual image. This edge is necessary to fold and secure the canvas properly onto the stretcher frame.
