Nicole Lubbers - Circle of light XL

icole Lubbers is a Dutch visual artist from the eastern part of the country. She is known for her innovative and quirky approach to art and works with various styles, techniques, and visual forms. In her work, color, movement, expression, and emotion play an important role. Themes such as resilience, strength, transformation, and overcoming challenges regularly inspire her creations. Her international career has developed strongly in recent years. Lubbers was named Artist of the Year 2024 at the Belgrade Biennale, received the Institutional Award of the Municipality of Montecosaro, and achieved second place at the World Art Awards as Most Innovative Artist 2024. She was also listed among the 100 best female artists in the world and recognized as Master in Art. Internationally, her work has been seen and planned for exhibitions in, among others, New York, Venice, Florence, Belgrade, Belgium, China, and Montecosaro, in addition to exhibitions in Dutch galleries. A particular highlight is Beyond the Surface, a solo exhibition on Times Square in New York. In addition, Nicole presents together with artist Michael Lam the exhibition Harmony in Motion: Two Artists, One Vision. Two different artistic worlds come together in this project and form a joint dialogue around movement, color, creativity, and transformation. Nicole Lubbers’ work is more than just a visual image. Her compositions invite reflection on perseverance, growth, and overcoming challenges. The powerful colors and dynamic imagery make her work a striking statement within both modern and classical interiors. Digital artwork on canvas This artwork is a digital artwork, designed by Nicole Lubbers and reproduced on high-quality canvas. It is not mixed media and the canvas is not hand-painted or post-processed. The strength of the work lies in the image composition, the use of color, and the distinctive look of the design. By printing on canvas, the digital artwork obtains a high-quality presentation suitable for different interior styles. Delivery and presentation The artwork is delivered without a frame and without a stretcher frame. You will receive the canvas carefully rolled, so you can decide how you want to present the artwork yourself. For example, you can have the canvas framed or stretched on a professional framer’s stretcher frame. Important when stretching: please note that for stretching the canvas you need at least 5 cm extra canvas on every side. This margin is necessary to fold and secure the cloth properly around the stretcher frame. Therefore, when determining the final size, account for at least 5 cm extra margin on the top, bottom, left, and right. In addition to her work as a visual artist, Nicole Lubbers is also known as a puppet maker. The artwork is delivered with a certificate of authenticity.
