Netherlands 1867 - King William III unshod

Mint variety, untouched, in a rare horizontal pair unused with original gum and hinge remnants. Exceptionally beautiful, fully original gold color. Red mark on the gum side. Usual slight paper curl exactly halfway between the stamps in the margin. Old photo certificate H. Koopman: "12vII in pair mint, in every respect original. The stamps have a beautiful gold color and only partially original gum", dated 21-09-1977. Note: partially original gum due to hinge remnants. At that time there was no distinction between mint and unused. At the time, one sheet (200 pieces) of mint stamps was delivered to J.B. Moens in Brussels. See scans. Catalog value for two individual stamps € 1,600.00 (NVPH 2026) Registered mail PLEASE NOTE: Due to the new PPWR regulation—which came into effect on August 12, 2026, and entails significant and far-reaching changes for businesses regarding shipments within the EU—I am suspending shipments to EU countries other than the Netherlands. Local pickup remains available at all times. I am still shipping to countries outside the EU for the time being. My apologies for the inconvenience.
