NEPAL Tamang shaman’s drum (dhyangro), a round drum with a skin stretched over each side, decorated with a trident motif; the wooden handle, with a dark patina, is shaped like a phurbu, carved with three anthropomorphic faces, knots imitating intertwined ribbons framing a stylized vajra, and a triple blade clung to by an animal. (Chip; damage to the handle; old restoration on the body). H. 80 cm
