Nativity scene (15) - Vintage Italian papier-mâché...

A beautiful complete Christmas nativity set of 15 figures, originating from Italy. Period around 1950-1960. Material papier-mâché with hand-painted figures and fine details. Marked on the underside with Italy, printed and initials on the crèche. The nativity set consists of Mary, baby Jesus, Joseph, donkey and ox, three shepherds and a sheep, three kings, a camel, the camel handler and the angel. The nativity set is in good condition with the usual signs of use for its age. Noteworthy is that Mary, Jesus and Joseph have a halo (golden wreath) around their heads. The camel has two cracked legs, but can stand and the angel is porcelain; the wings have been repaired. Some figures are somewhat heavier, possibly different material. The tallest figure is 13 cm. Photos form part of the description. The nativity set is well packaged and shipped with traceability. NOTE: NO SHIPPING OUTSIDE EUROPE.
