For sale: a pair of original Wassily B3 armchairs by Marcel Breuer, produced by MYC/Gavina (Spain). The Wassily Chair, model B3, was designed by Marcel Breuer in 1925 and is considered one of the iconic designs from the Bauhaus period. The design is characterized by its bent tubular steel frame and leather seat, back, and armrests. This pair features a chrome-plated steel tube frame and dark brown/cognac-colored leather. Both chairs bear the MYC/Gavina mark; the leather also shows Marcel Breuer's designation/signature. The chairs match each other in design and color. They are complete and show normal signs of use appropriate for their age and usage. Condition The overall condition is good and the chairs are ready to use. The leather shows light to normal signs of use and patina, fitting for vintage furniture. The chrome has light aging marks and small spots/pitting in various areas.
