Entirely handmade in Murano, this small glass bee is a true miniature sculpture, shaped piece by piece with flame‑working. The head, in glossy black glass, is lit by two inset eyes that give it a lively and friendly expression. The body, in honey and amber colored glass, is wrapped in the classic dark stripes and traversed by soft veining that, when held to the light, reminds of honey itself. On the sides two wings of transparent amber-yellow glass are heat-applied. When struck by light, the wings let it filter through and cast delicate golden reflections. A black seed bead at the end completes the body like a tiny sting. The pendant is mounted on a finely worked gold-toned jump ring and descends from a thin twisted-link chain. The spring-ring clasp, with extender chain, allows you to adjust the length.
