Beautiful ashtray from the Niagara series, designed by Karel Zemek and manufactured by the glassworks in Mstišov in the 1960s. High-quality handmade one-of-a-kind piece bearing the manufacturer's mark. Early Mstišov pieces from the 1950s and 1960s were marked with the Roman numeral III inside a circle. Triangular organic form. Beautiful layer in amber and blue tones, encased in clear colorless glass. Polished base. Lovely play of colors and optical effects — especially under suitable lighting. Dimensions (H x W x D): 8 x 18.5 x 14.5 cm, 866 g Very good undamaged condition. Moderate scuff marks on the base.
