Montblanc - Meisterstück "Hommage à Wolfgang Amadeus...

We present at auction a true gem for collectors, music lovers, and writers signed Montblanc: the prestigious Meisterstück fountain pen "Hommage à Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart." This model (known to collectors as 114), famous for its delightful compact pocket- or bag-sized dimensions, stands as an elegant tribute to the genius of the renowned Austrian composer, marrying meticulous proportions with the unmistakable luxury of the maison. The body and cap are masterfully crafted in traditional precious black Montblanc resin, highlighted by the classic, bright gold-plated finishes. The triple central band is finely engraved with the brand name, and atop the cap dominates the emblem of the white star. The pocketable design has been expertly engineered to ensure maximum comfort: the screw-cap can be conveniently screwed onto the end of the barrel, allowing the pen to reach optimal proportions and ergonomics for a perfect writing experience. The beating heart of this extraordinary instrument is the magnificent solid gold nib, finely hand-crafted and enriched with the traditional maison engravings. On the technical side, the fountain pen is designed for practical, clean use with ink cartridges, a mechanical choice essential and functional given its elegant compact proportions. Photographs confirm the total cleanliness and integrity of the nib block and the ink feeder. The conservational state of this specimen is exceptional, to be regarded as essentially brand new. The item presents itself pristine: the resin is perfectly glossy, mirror-like, and free of any signs of wear; the gilding is bright and intact, testimony to a piece never used or preserved with museum-grade care. In keeping with our usual rigorous policy of complete transparency, we confirm the absolute absence of defects, scratches, or personalized engravings. To further enhance and exceptionally complete this lot, the fountain pen comes in its exclusive original collection packaging. Included is the special square presentation box for the "Hommage à Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart" edition, inside which, besides the pen and its soft protective fabric sheath, sits the original musical CD "Amadeus" (conducted by Sir Neville Marriner) that accompanies and characterizes this special edition. An unmissable opportunity to acquire a true jewel of elegant pocket-sized engineering.
