Montblanc - Meisterstück 163 Classique 75th Anniversary...

We present at auction a special edition of extraordinary value and rarity: the Montblanc Meisterstück 163 Classique rollerball in the special 75th Anniversary edition (from 1999), a highly coveted collectible piece created to celebrate three quarters of a century of the legendary Meisterstück line. The tapered body and cap of this iconic instrument are made of fine black lucent resin, enhanced by an elegant contrast with the gold-tone fittings. The distinctive and exclusive detail of this celebratory edition is visible on the cap: the lower ring of the clip features a refined cursive engraving with the inscription "75 Years of Passion and Soul," and is adorned with a brilliant diamond set directly inside the gold-tone mount, just beneath the clip. The top of the cap is crowned by the unmistakable emblem of the white star. The images showing the instrument disassembled confirm perfect structural integrity and the presence of an original roller refill inside the body. The condition of this specimen is classifiable as in excellent overall condition, maintaining full functionality and a magnificent overall luster. In strict observance of our policy of total transparency and as clearly visible in the macro photographic documentation, only very slight and entirely physiological micro-scratches on the resin and on the gold parts are noted, resulting from careful and normal prior use that in no way compromise the extraordinary aesthetics and the high collectible value of the object.
