We are putting up for auction a piece of extraordinary historical and collecting significance: a magnificent Montblanc Meisterstück 149 fountain pen, universally recognized as the undisputed queen among writing instruments. This particular specimen represents one of the most sought-after and iconic versions of the famous “Pluma,” coveted by great connoisseurs around the world. The body and cap are masterfully crafted in premium black Montblanc resin, featuring a deep, glassy luster and elegant gold-plated finishes. The clip ring bears the classic identifying hallmark, and atop the cap the white six-pointed star stands out. The heart of this masterpiece is the extraordinary two-tone nib in solid gold with refined engravings, paired with the traditional and efficient piston-filling system (piston filler) with a transparent window for monitoring ink level. The condition of this piece is to be considered generally excellent. The pen appears solid and clean, with beautiful resin polish and outstanding aesthetic performance.
