We present at auction an authentic masterpiece of elegance and compact design signed Montblanc: the exclusive fountain pen from the famous Bohème line in the refined Platinum Line version. This collection represents one of the highest pinnacles of Hamburg craftsmanship, marrying the classical charm of precious materials with mechanical and formal solutions unique in the world. The barrel and cap of the instrument are crafted in premium glossy black resin of the highest quality, featuring a slender, rounded silhouette that offers perfect balance. The aesthetic is masterfully embellished with bright platinum finishes, including the elegant clip (set with a small embedded stone) and the decorative rings engraved with the brand lettering. The most iconic and distinctive element of the Bohème line lies in the mechanism: by unscrewing the end cap, an ingenious twisting mechanism is activated that causes the magnificent retractable nib in solid gold (usually 14K) to emerge, adorned with delicate engravings and perfectly clean together with its feed, as highlighted by the close-up photographic details. At the top of the cap rises the unmistakable Montblanc white star. The conservation state of this piece is absolutely exceptional, and it can be classified as in excellent condition. The black resin appears bright, deep, and free of structural defects, while the platinum parts maintain a mirrored and pristine luster.
